Where Comfort Meets Care

Walton Creek Farm is a small, privately owned boarding facility in scenic Huddleston, VA located just a couple miles from Smith Mountain Lake State Park and only 10 minutes from Route 122. We strive to make your horses as happy as possible. Each 12x12 matted stall has a fan and an attached bluestone run with a covered area, so even when your horse is not in a paddock, they have space to move and the ability to choose whether they want to be inside or out.

For the people, there is a climate controlled tack room and bathroom. Each stall comes with a tack locker that has a saddle rack, two bridle rack, and three shelves. We have benches to sit on when changing shoes, a washer/dryer, and saddle pad drying rack. The oversized indoor wash stall has hot and cold water and individual cubbies for each horse’s wash gear. There is also an outdoor wash pad for when your horse is extra dirty.
